1956 \u2013 Was born in Moscow<\/p>\n

1963-1970 \u2013 Studied drawing under his grandfather, artist Meir Akselrod.<\/p>\n

1979 \u2013 Graduated from the production faculty of Moscow Art Theatre school with speciality of stage designer.<\/p>\n

1978 \u2013 1990\u00a0 –\u00a0 Designed more than 60 performances in thatres of the Soviet Union.<\/p>\n

1984 \u2013 Became member of the Artists Union and the Union of Theatre Workers.<\/p>\n

1985 \u2013 The performance \u00abVassa Geleznova\u00bb, designed by M.Yakhilevich got the USSR State Prize.<\/p>\n

1989 \u2013\u00a0 Design director in Mark Rozovsky’ Nikitski Gates Theatre in Moscow.<\/p>\n

1990 \u2013\u00a0 Repatriated to Israel with family.<\/p>\n

1991 \u2013\u00a0 Became the Member of Israel Artists Union .<\/p>\n

1991 \u2013 Created the repatriated artists group \u00abMesilot\u00bb<\/p>\n

1991 \u2013 1999 \u2013\u00a0 Curator of more than 20 \u00abMesilot\u00bb group exhibitions in Israel, Russia, Germany, Italy.<\/p>\n

2000 \u2013 Recipient of Bulat Okudzhava’s foundation prize for the contribution to the absorption of repatriated artists.<\/p>\n

2001 \u2013 Organizer and participant of the defensive wall painting in Gilo.<\/p>\n

2002 \u2013\u00a0 Curator of the international artists’ plain-air across jewish towns in Ukraine.<\/p>\n

2003 \u2013 Curator of the exhibition dedicated to the 90th<\/sup> anniversary of \u00abJoint\u00bb in Moscow.<\/p>\n

2004 \u2013 Hold a course in Israeli art history in Russia.<\/p>\n

2006 \u2013 First israeli artist, invited to exhibit in Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow. (exhibition \u00abWriting book \u2014 three generations of Akselrod family\u00bb)<\/p>\n
